Description
My research has primarily focused on my interest in the cultural significance of music, particularly in relation to local identities and social practice. Working in the Mixed Reality Laboratory, my PhD research and writing will continue to explore the sociality of music and its impact on the digital creative economy with a view to contributing to existing academic theory and music journalism. With an interdisciplinary approach, I will be exploring the ways in which ubiquitous collaborative and networking technologies can be further developed to support the work of semi-professional musicians and artists in the digital age.
