Creative Hive

Creative Hive www.creativehive.org is a web 2.0 blogging and social networking platform developed by the University of Salford that allows people to create their own website and blog.

Creative Hive empowers people to share their work, stories, ideas and projects to form a central melting pot of information. This has led to some fascinating new collaborations and opportunities for people.

In this form, Creative Hive is aimed at creative students and people, but the same technology can be used for many different applications from community groups to intranets. The website also works in tandem with a space in the virtual world of Second Life.
